The Company owns over 221 hotels with approximately 37,000 rooms or suites located in over 36 states, in the District of Columbia, Ontario, Canada and San Juan, Puerto Rico. It owns approximately 752 service-oriented retail properties with over 13.3 million square feet located in approximately 42 states. The Company’s net lease portfolio is occupied by over 175 tenants, which is operating approximately 137 brands in over 21 industries. The Company's net lease portfolio is leased to tenants that include travel centers, quick service and casual dining restaurants, movie theaters, health and fitness centers, grocery stores, automotive parts and services and other businesses in service-oriented and necessity-based industries.

RE:Maybe this generates more interest from potential suitors?If they didn't lock the price in to line their own pockets it would have had an effect, but the stock price is locked at $3.80 because that's what management has agreed to give the shares away for.

Canaccord isn't going to do squat because they report to management and the mandate is not to sell it to a higher bidder,  hence the short 42 day window.

lawsuits are the only outcome, svc management is already looking forward to their futures in the US while shareholders are left holding the bag.  The activist shareholders should take note and mobilize as this giveaway enriches the management and board but not the owners who have stood by from the ioi price of $7 , world leaders , riiiiight.
