AC is nothing compared to Cathay Pacific in terms of exclusivity, quality, customer service, experience, etc. There is  not a single about Air Canada that is better than Cathay other than AC provides more flights to smaller cities in Canada.... But why would anyone redeem their miles for a flight to Fort McMurray?

They are not even fair comparison. Cathay is a world-class airline comparable to the likes of JAL, Singapore Airlines, Eva, and Emirates.  If full partnership with Cathay or other similar airlines (JAL, China Airlines, etc.) is possible within the three years, I'm gonna buy more tomorrow because this stock will go much higher than $8.
