Canadian Embassy Validates
 Supreme Court of Chile Subpoenas

June 14, 2017 - Mountainstar Gold Inc. (“the Company” or “Mountainstar”) is pleased to announce that its Chilean lawyer, Juan Guillermo Torres Fuentealba, has been informed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Chile that the Canadian Embassy in Santiago has accepted to due process, Jorge Lopehandia’s request for regulators of the British Columbia Securities Commission (“BCSC”), the Toronto Stock Exchange (“TSX”), insiders of Barrick Gold Corp. and prominent politicians of Canada to be served with international subpoenas from the Supreme Court of Chile. The Supreme Court judges voted unanimously on this decision.

The international exhort originated from a legal defeat for damages from the 5th Civil Court of Santiago supported by the Illustrious Court of Appeal of Santiago. They were approved for serving in Canada by the Supreme Court and Ministry of Justice & Human Rights of Chile.

Mountainstar welcomes this decision as it allows the Company to correct the existing libel and slander of project and profit opportunity arising from a libelous publication on December 21, 2011.

On behalf of the Board of Directors,

“Brent Johnson”
