These banners include Saks Fifth Avenue, Hudson's Bay, Lord & Taylor, and Off 5th in North America and Galeria Kaufhof, Galeria Inno, and Sportarena in Europe. HBC also has investments in real estate joint ventures. In Canada, it has partnered with RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust in the RioCan-HBC joint venture.

RE:RE:Letter to the boardI agree I don't believe that the entire retail landscape is and will be gone forever, but the massive and I mean massive footprint that companies like HBC, Sears, Target, JCPenney is deemed not competitive. After Amazon's purchase of Whole Foods this is a game changer and why I've said that the company needs to monetize their retail assets and lease out to a company like Trader's Joe. They need to bring back consumers to their stores because not everyone are inticed to go shopping for apparel, furniture, housing goods etc but you get people go to the grocery chains much more frequently.
