proxyvote.com vs investorvote.comApparently, there are at least 2 sites that are collecting proxies.
- www.investorvote.com (from Computershare, 15 digit control number?)
- proxyvote.com (from TD Waterhouse, 16 digit control number).
I just called TD Waterhouse regarding the proxy package (sent by mail) that contains the info circular, etc. and the control number for the shares. Answers:
- Package was sent out, and should reach me in a couple of days.
- They offered to vote my shares for me, but I wanted to do the voting myself.
- They gave me the 16 digits control number (after some security questions, to make sure that I am not an impostor).
Presumably this is for voting on proxyvote.com (16 digits) which is going through the brokerage to be forwarded to ICG. Just like voting via Computershare (investorvote.com) that collects the proxies for ICG. So, all roads lead to Rome? (i.e. using either server will get the results to ICG?).
Will wait for a couple of days for the package to verify my control number before voting (deadline 29 June, which is coming up fast).
If you don't do anything, ICG management will vote YES for the "arrangement" for you, So, let them hear your NOs, loud and clear. Every votes count in this game, and management seems to design the voting scheme in favour of a YES.
It's gonna be a capital NO for my stack of shares.
