RE:Shareholders Losing InterestThe only shareholders not wanting the deal are the little guys. Both ICG and ELD want it, esp. de Junk and Samami. Instant wealth for them. Voila! For the average non-institutional investor, peanuts. It will all come down to who holds the "pro" shares vs. who the "cons." Don't kid yourself, Eldorado HAS to have ICG because it is a slipshod outfit at best with mines in some of the crappiest, most unstable places on the planet.
As for Turkey, call me when you can trust Recep Tayyip Erdoan and his authoritarian party, complete with street thugs. Don't come out of this singing The Band Played Waltzing Mathilda.

As for Greece, it continues to move to the left and becomes more volatile by the day as poverty among the denizens deepens and hope for the future abates. This does not give rise to happy people who wish to see foreign interests thrive. So what if the "arbitration" is tolerable? What will happen next month? Greece changes leftist governments like you change your underwear, possibly more frequently.
Take a look at the bottom of Eldorado's website main page and tell me what you see.

"We support the UN Global Compace and the World Gold Counsel." These are two virulent anti-gold mining and anti-extractive industry charlatans, especially the UN, the "cannibals' and communists' club." They hawk their false-science global warming - or is it global cooling - aw, shucks, who cares what the excuse of the day is? - "we'll use any excuse" - to trample people's rights because the sheeple are too stupid to notice or care. They just don't matter. They are the "common herd" and "useless eaters" according to quotes of the "globalist elite."
And then there is the carbon hysteria, a weak and totally unsubstantiated lie if ever there was one. Despite the fact we are made largely of carbon (18.5%) after oxygen (65%). And not only this, we would not have any O2 if the plants did not have any carbon! Life would become extinct.

So, what is Eldorado doing using shareholders' money to support these two hawkers of snake oil?
Eldorado MUST have ICG or it will continue to plummet. But the greater tragedy is, if it does latch on to it, both ELD and ICG are going to stagnate at best, fall together at worst.
Regardless, this shotgun wedding between the two will do Integra, once an up-and-coming, thriving junior gold, NO GOOD and will destroy it. Make no mistake. All IMHO only.
VOTE NO ON THIS DASTARDLY MERGER AND SEND THE TREACHEROUS BOARD OF ICG PACKING!
