Yesterday was an unusual trading day on TSX with extreme high volumes in a number of stocks on my watchlist, yet the prices gained or lost were hardly something to be cheerful for the Yes and Nays. This kind of abnormal market sign could mean 1) shorts are instructed to clean up their positions, 2) Prime brokers are clearing out counterfeit shares in their books. Regardless of what those reasons were , imho , the market could be making preparations for a turnaround. Will the market be turning north ? or south ? Your quess.
