Fortune Minerals Limited is a mining company. It is engaged in the exploration and development of mineral properties in Canada. It is focused on developing the NICO Cobalt-Gold-Bismuth-Copper Project in the Northwest Territories and Alberta that produces a bulk concentrate for shipment to a refinery that it plans to construct in southern Canada. It also maintains the right to repurchase the Arctos anthracite coal deposits in northwest British Columbia. It also has a 100% interest in these 116 hectares of property south of Great Slave Lake with copper, silver, gold, lead and zinc showings. It has a 1% net smelter royalty covering 78 hectares of land positioned in a former silver mining district, located south of the Eldorado mining district at Great Bear Lake.

RE:RE:RE:RE:PatheticI spent the last couple of months reading the posts on this board because yes, I did own FT shares, 35,000 of them. I never read a more optomistic bunch of people. Didn't matter what happened, they'd still see a positive side to things. I began to think this board was useless for critical intelligence. Why is everybody such a cheerleader? I watched the evolution of CRUZ as I held FT, laughed at them, but saw them outstrip FT. I bought ECS and did really well. It went down, but now back to where it was. FT has just been loss. I'm here because I owned FT as of 1 hour ago. So there. That's why I'm here. I hope that I'm proven wrong on FT because I think fundamentally it's a good project, but if this climate can't bring about a major institutional investor, I don't know what will. Technology changes faster than you can blink an eye, so betting on long term mining timescales against technology that changes in an instant is a losing play.
