The issue in the story I posted which BTW, needs to be taken with a huge grain of salt, isn’t Morocco where corruption is a way of life. The issue is Malta and France which are both EU members.

Paying lobbyists is common practise and by no means illegal but the idea of channeling “fees” through tax havens adds a potential dimension which is unlikely to be ignored within the EU.
