Market locality reduces prices and Idaho has therefore a natural cost advantage. If Musk finds lower prices elsewhere, fine; however, there will still be increased demand and thereby increased Co prices. No trick here.  Global demand is going up, Global supply is anticipated to lag, and Co prices will rise because of it. Tesla may be able to leverage slighly lower prices by buying locally, or not; however ECS is completely agnostic to this since Cobalt is sold globally.
