« Nous tablissons d'troits partenariats avec de grands fabricants de batteries lithium-ion et de vhicules lectriques pour s'assurer que notre production rpondra la demande prsente et future », dit Tom Schneberger, vice-prsident de FMC Lithium dans une note aux investisseurs.


Nous prvoyons que les ventes de vhicules lectriques et hybrides alimenteront une croissance de la demande de lithium de 16 % par an au cours des dix prochaines annes, soit plus rapide que celle de n'importe quelle autre marchandises au cours du sicle dernier, d'environ 175 000 tonnes mtriques en 2015 environ 775 000 d'ici 2025 », a dclar l'analyste de Morningstar David Wang dans un rapport l'automne dernier.
