RE:RE:RE:uranium miners Going to Soar Next weekI understand your cynicism and pessimism. But a good investor separates the political bafflegab (which abounds in this industry) from verifiable facts. You mentioned South Korea. The new President of that country is a left wing politician with a hate on for nuclear power and has vowed to close down all of Soutrh Korea's nuclear power plants....a fact widely reported by the media...most of which strangely enough is left wing also and have a hate on for nuclear power. So the FACTS are that the same number of nuclear power plants are operating today as there were before the announcement. So no change there and they currently are burning lots of Uranium. It is one thing to SAY you are going to shutdown nuclear plants...a whole other matter to actually DO it. Such a policy reversal will wipe out a profitable nuclear export industry for South Korea....which is building 4 x 1000MW plants in Barakah with the hope of building more. So it is not going to happen. How do I know this when the statement seems so uncompromising. Easy really...the British labour movement said it would end nuclear power...only to reverse its decision and now the UK is scrambling to replace its nuclear fleet before the inevitable blackouts will occur. The French left winger Mr. Hollande promised to do the same only to be replaced with Mr. Macron who has been relatively silent on the topic at least I have not heard of any pronouncements to the effect that he would continue Mr Hollandes idiotic policy. And we heard the same from Sweden which vowed to close all of its plants but has now reversed that decision.
So the number of operating power plants is going to inbcrease sharply in the next few years. Do not read the papers and stay away from left wing media that amplify the negatives out of all proportion to the facts. You did NOT hear on the media that India has announced plans to construct 7000MW of new indigenous PHWR plants based on the highly successful CANDU series in Canada. Neither did you hear that Kundankulum in India power plant has laid the concrete for units 3 and 4 (1000MX Russian VVER) and reached agreement with Russia for another two units K5 and K6.
So when the press and the public believe that nuclear power is finished but the FACTS state the opposite....whare do YOU think millions of doillars will be made.
Can I tell you when....no I do not know how to predict markets and I do not attempt it. What I can say is that a large price inbcrease is on the cards for Uranium and the Russians and Kazakhs are in control of the market. When they decide to move this market will explode like I said.
