Has Barrick, Oceana, or Toqueville sold 1 share? What is the "Smart Money" doing?
So it’s February 22, 2016, and NuLegacy wants to solicit the opinions of large outside shareholders. Who would they call? Off the top of my head, I guess Waterton, who I think owned around 10%, They’d call GRIT, who had an unknown larger quantity, and they’d call Davenport, who had about 5%. Check old press releases to confirm amounts.
If you wanted to solicit the opinions of large outside shareholders less than two months later, on April 20th, you’d need a bigger conference table. In addition to Waterton, and Davenport, you’d have:
Barrick who swapped Redhill/iceberg land for 32mm shares at CA 12.5 cents, announced Feb. 23rd.
Next you’d have Oceana, who bought 47.66mm shares at $CA .14 for 19.9%, announced April 7th.
Finally, you’d have Toqueville Fund, who acquired 19.5mm shares at $CA .20 as part of GRIT’s holdings. I don’t readily know what Toqueville’s purchase left GRIT with, it is not my point here.
Several of those mentioned later increased their stakes.
Now, over a year later, Waterton left, announcing that the size and scope here didn’t fit their business model. Fair enough.
Is anyone aware of Barrick, Oceana, or Toqueville selling a single share?
Hmmm, you can see a lot of news in a short amount of time.
