RE:Anyone hear back from management? Keep hammering them! No, John (IR) sent me an email to contact him at my convenience to talk, but when I called yesterday, I got the voice mail of a woman. Needless to say, I left a message & my cell phone number. Nothing yet.
Maybe I was a bit too harsh in my comments on another board where I said their communications guy should be replaced. What I "should've" conveyed was that it needs to get corrected expeditiously. We all have bad days, but when it becomes a negative trend which has a big impact on the company, it has to get fixed. (improvements, training, or if no other option . . replacement.)
As for their CEO, he said he would respond and I believe him - just hasn't had the time yet - said something about a family emergency, so I wish he and his family well.
For what it's worth, I don't think we need new mgmt., just a transition in thinking. Anyone who has started a business or helped out with one knows their is a different mindset required in different stages of it's growth. When they were a developmental company, I am sure their skillset was focused on survival & on tactical cash flow issues. Now that they have successfully navigated there way to not only production but sizeable growth, they have to be more focused on strategic issues, stronger operational planning and communications processes, and a focus on "quality mgmt processes" to learn from problems and to prevent them from happening again. Their performance over the past 6-9 months tells me they haven't made this transition yet. I bet they could use a good process pro/improvement person to follow up on problem areas.
