Reactive management

Reactive managementI wanted to make a coment a few weeks ago on the stock price run to $1.87 for no apparent reason and the mgnt's code of silence on the issue. From the $2.47 May 9 closing and the good Q results of that day, the stock went to $1.87 by June 22nd, a 25% drop in share price. I was saying to myself, wouldn't be time for ITC mgnt to speak up, indicating that there are no material changes and that all is good and on track? Silence, not a peep.

Contrast this to PYR-X this morning who issues such a statement after a 25% share price drop in very similar circumstances as ITC. Nothing but positive news releases before the share price drop and the company is on solid grounds.  PYR management steps in with a news release indicating no material change and that all is good. Will it be enough to initiate a reversal in the stock price, I don't know. But what I know is that they are not asleep at the command, they're concerned and reacting.

ITC reacts by adding 2 new directors! What the #^(&% is that all about!! 7 board members for a 50 mil cap company. Wake up ITC, sort out your issues, focus on the company and move the agenda forward. Instead of directors, an experience set of new fresh eyes inside the company, to grow it to the next level would be more appropriate.

Cheers
