in all due respect kade1 , there is speculative assumption and direct assertions. I think the former can bet more harmful and detrimental to shareholders and investors. 

If the share price is based on speculation, either one of these can be damaging or have a positive result on the share price.
if the share price is based on solid financial data such information of either form has little effect.
