RE:News

RE:NewsHi MD,

Don't think the fact that the heap leach operation will continue whilst the CIL plant is constructed is new news. Without that there would clearly be a hiatus in Ity output, which is not suggested in any of EDV's presentations.

The question which remains open, is whether the heap leach operation will continue when the CIL plant is complete. I asked about this in one of the calls and was told that the "base case" was for the CIL to take over from the heap leach when it was complete, but the option of running both in parallel was under consideration. I guess the result of that consideration will become apparent when the new DFS is published.

Like you, looking forward to that! Hope the delay is for positive reasons.

Sad to see Attie go. He was a good man, but I have every confidence in Jeremy Langford who, I believe, managed the highly successful new mine construction projects. One of the most positive features of EDV has been its ability to deliver new mines on time and in budget, and with production meeting (or exceeding) expectations. There are few miners you can say that about!

Cheers,
Mark
