Bolivar Goldfields Ltd. ("Bolivar"), which has agreed to purchase Storage @ccess Inc., has established an Advisory Board to provide the company with a forum to involve industry professionals in the growth and direction of the company and so that they can provide Bolivar with information and suggestions on industry trends, products and services and related business opportunities in the hosted storage industry. Although appointed by Bolivar's board of directors, the Advisory Board members are neither directors nor officers of Bolivar, but rather serve in a consultative capacity and have no executive decision making powers. The board of directors has appointed the following people, who have significant expertise in several key areas that are important to the success of Bolivar and Storage @ccess, to serve on Bolivar's Advisory Board:
Christopher Pyle - Mr. Pyle, President of Champion Solutions Group Inc. ("CSG"), has been employed with CSG for over 15 years, progressing from Sales Representative to Vice President to President. He is responsible for the overall direction and strategy of the entire organization. He actively participates on several industry advisory committees; his involvement on the Advisory Board will entail focusing on overall market conditions and trends, channel management, and corporate strategy.
Michael Steven Greene - Mr. Greene, Managing Partner - Governing Committee of Gunster, Yoakley & Stewart, P.A., practices in the areas of Real Property Law and Finance Law, Business Law and International Law with special emphasis on technology, e-commerce and Internet practice areas. Mr. Greene has 20 years legal experience with several major law firms and, in addition to numerous community and professional associations, presently belongs to the following professional organizations: Internetcoast.com, NAP Subcommittee; Gold Coast Capital Venture Club; City of Miami Beach Advisory Board; and the Tri-County Internet Coast Task Force. He will consult on strategic corporate, regulatory, technology and legal matters.
Miguel A. Rodriguez - Mr. Rodriguez, President of MRConsultores and Incofin, Inc., is an influential financial and economic consultant to several major international banks, financial institutions, and public and private organizations. He has 20 years academic, public and private sector experience and holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Yale, specializing in Macroeconomics, International Economics, and Money and Banking. His work experience in Venezuela includes: President of the Central Bank, Minister of Planning and Economic Cabinet Coordinator. He also has significant international experience including: Professor of Economics IESA, Visiting Fellow at the Institute for International Economics, Washington, and Governor and Senior Adviser to the World Bank and Interamerican Development Bank. He will consult on strategic financial and banking matters.
Jim L. Crump - Mr. Crump, President of Link Net Consultants, is a high level consultant specializing in strategic planning, marketing and sales, business partner and human resources strategy, as well as training, recruiting and other business strategic assistance. Prior to founding Link Net Consultants, Mr. Crump designed and taught courses for business executives as part of IBM's Business Partner Executive training program. Strategic planning, marketing programs, sales training, compliance, financing considerations and mergers and acquisitions were among the topics covered in these weeklong training classes. Mr. Crump's own IBM experience included systems engineering, sales and technical training, management development training, sales and systems management, IBM branch management, human resources management and business partner compliance. His list of clients includes IBM, DEC, MCI, Apple, Unisys, AT&T, Sun, Gartner Group and many more. He will consult on human resources and business strategy.
Michael Murphy - Mr. Murphy, Senior Vice President of Sales for CSG, has been employed by CSG for 10 years, progressing from Sales Representative to Vice President of Sales. He is responsible for developing and maintaining CSG' s customer base and increasing the overall sales. He is also responsible for all sales and marketing campaigns, as well as the corporate training and development for all employees. He will consult with Bolivar on sales and marketing campaigns.
Mike Piltoff - Mr. Piltoff, Vice President of Solutions Marketing for CSG, has been CSG's lead product strategist for the past four years. He has worked within the industry for 14 years, including such positions as territory sales manager, Vice President Sales and Marketing, and Vice President of Business Development. He is an expert in the storage and storage area networking markets, and will consult on storage market strategy for Bolivar.
Michael Preisman - Mr. Preisman, CFO for CSG, has been with CSG for the past three years, and is a CPA with 29 years of financial management experience in various industries. He has also been involved in the acquisition and sales of numerous small to medium size businesses. He is responsible for the finance, human resources, information systems, and treasury management functions within CSG. He will focus on financial projections and strategies for Bolivar.
Mark Wyllie - Mr. Wyllie, Vice President and General Manager of CSG's Services Division, has been employed with CSG for the past two years, and has worked within sales and management over the last twenty years. He is responsible for the strategic and tactical direction of CSG's Services Division, while still continuing to integrate CSG's hardware sales into responsive customer solutions. His expertise is in the area of service offerings and related strategy, on which he will consult for Bolivar.
Ed Turetzky - Ed Turetzky, Managing Director, Architecture & Delivery Services for CSG, has been employed with CSG for the past three years and has been the technical systems lead during that time. Mr. Turetzky has over 20 years of industry experience with 10 years at IBM. He heads a team of 20 technical resources that design, architect, and implement RS/6000, AS/400, Netfinity, and storage solutions. He will consult with Bolivar on architecture and implementation.
Eduardo Eraso - Mr. Eraso serves as an advisor/consultant to several Spanish transnational conglomerates, banks and industrial groups expanding into Latin America. He has 20 years experience in diverse management and financial functions with AGECO, Cofiber S.A., British Aircraft Corp., Paine Webber, Banque Rothschild and British Electrical Traction. He will advise Bolivar on its international expansion into Europe and Latin America.
Bolivar has called a special meeting of its shareholders. At the meeting, shareholders will be asked, among other things, to approve the acquisition of Storage @ccess and the change of Bolivar's name to Storage @ccess Technologies Inc. Representatives of Storage @ccess, Champion Computer Corporation and IBM will be available to answer questions. The meeting will be held on Friday, October 13, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. (Toronto time) in the Main Boardroom of Stikeman Elliott, Barristers & Solicitors, 5300 Commerce Court West, 199 Bay Street, Toronto, Ontario, M5L 1B9. The acquisition of Storage @ccess is subject to regulatory approval.
