My bad call!  I have feared what is now happening.  Trump's dysfunction, stupidity, chaos have become normalized.  People are getting used to him and if fear is still the sensible response to this administration it too is becoming normalized and just isn't moving markets--gold specifically..

When Trump said his twitter rants were 'the new presidential' republicans were quick to praise his 'communication skills'.

Until that Russia probe can bring back the heat then Trump fear is not going to move the needle for gold.  He was the best thing gold had going for it this year.  

All very sad but gold seems to be having a hard time competing with Fed tightening and the higher bond yields that brings.

I have no idea what to do with Detour.
