I hope the management realize it is in their interest to act asap to find an airline as their partner. Looks like AC and west jet is out of the picture for now.
I doubt the management has many options. Other airline is in no hurry to act. The best outcome for AC might be that AIM going to a slow death. The worst for AC might be that AIM partner with west jet.
I am still long but do not have much confidence in the management now.
I got stopped out earlier on in the week.I use stop's to remove emotion.
I only see Westjet as a "worthy" replacement....however,they do not have the massive airline alliance that Air Canada has,so even if they make a deal....it won't be anywhere comparable to what choices aeroplan members have now for flight redemptions.
With Westjet dollars you can book a flight if there is
any available seat.( ie it is not just a small percentage reserved for point redemptions) I doubt Westjet will want to replace that flexibility for its customer's....
Congratulations, didn't you sell you shares already to stop further loss? why are you still here? move on, go invest something else, unless you became a shorter, that is the only reason I see that you still here to post negativity about it.
