Thank you Echo. I had a colonoscopy 10 years ago and had a number of side effects. I do not want to take any chances with a scope which has not been sterilized.

When I was doing my dd on TOS, I spoke to some of my friends who are doctors. They all assured me that the hospitals work diligently to disinfect the scopes and that there was no need to sterilize. They were not aware of the litigation in the US. I may have difficulty in getting the answer from doctors.

I have sent TOS an email asking them to help me find a hospital which uses a VP4.
