RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Sinclair and CobalTechIt's funny that they don't mention those books in research from outfits like Small Cap Network who was paid $2,000 a month for "market awareness and other advertising" about CobalTech from Frontier MCG. Or on sites like Quality Stocks that promoted the stock of Kirkland Lake Mayor Tony Antoniazzi's brother, Opawica Explorations.

Kudos to you for making yourself aware of the risks, but many investors aren't. As you seem to agree, that appears to be the whole point of the TSX Venture, to fleece the unaware. Sinclair's idea to rename the stock of revenueless companies protects investors who don't have your understanding of the stock market. An elderly couple could lose their life savings in a heartbeat. A swindler could use a private placement to target just such victims. A rename to speck solves much of this problem, but allows trading to continue. It could even allow more companies to participate, with a higher level of "full, true and plain" disclosure.
