Here come the blow hards to protect their regrettable decision to get involved with a broken business model.  Lets apply some commond sense here.  One of top 3 shareholders is dumping his holdings while JE does the opposite.  The shareholder is acting in his best interests and JE is doing what is logical, retiring shares because debt outstanding is lower cost than a bloated dividend stream from the commons.  JE has no choice, while Ronald does have a choice and hes choosing to not continue losing money as JE loses its customers.

Wake up blow hards.  You've underperformed the TSX index and utilities index by 50% or greater over the past 5 years.  Why youre still here and that is what intrigues me.  You like pain and you have poor understanding of basic business.   My guess would be that youre one of three:   High school teacher, engineer or a dentist
