Corporate ArroganceIs the problem. They have shown total disregard for holders and couldn't care less where
the share price trades as long as their salaries and perks are coming in regularly to fuel
their lifestyle. That is the reality and like the aristocrats of France prior to la revolution, there
needs to be a severe housecleaning for CPG to regain the markets confidence. Why this
continues to be tolerated with absolutely no accountability for the poor performance is quite
astounding and shows how rigged corporate responsibility really is. In theory, mgmt is
accountable to holders and needs to accept responsibility for managing or mismanaging.
They are not owners but paid or compensated for this responsibility but somehow that
connection seems to have been lost or ignored. Corporate greed and arrogance rules the
day and holders are powerless other than to stay away which they have been doing. The
most effective tool for creating accountibility is to link slaries and perks to stock performance
just in the same way as holders equity is. If that were to happen I can guarantee you would
see a differrent attitude immediately.
