RE:RE:Tightly held for sure
RE:RE:Tightly held for sureI don't anticipate a takeover before year end. I'd like to see them sell Onion Lake and keep Blackrod and Mooney. With the cash from an Onion Lake sale and a JV on Blackrod, they can further compound gains for long-term investors. Keep in mind the top two execs here have almost $20 million in direct stockholdings given a share price of $1, excluding all options and saying nothing of the large Lundin holdings. The reason the stock is tightly held is because insiders and those connected to the company control the majority of the shares.
Speculation on time frames and targets is just that. My point was simply that there are substantial gains to be made here, the best of which should accrue to patient long term holders ignoring the weekly volatility.
This is the team that sold BlackRock and seems unanimously regarded as one of the true A-teams in Calgary.
Reserves here are high quality and of a very long duration. When analysts do NPVs on long-life assets they almost invariably discount the hell out of them. And yet in no way do I see oil in 2040 trading anywhere near $50/bbl. Name another junior with reserves of this quality and duration.....
ATH is another to watch.
