Lantic products include granulated (regular and organic), brown, icing, liquid, cubed sugars and specialty syrups, as well as agave, organic coconut sugar, Nature’s Raw sugar, maple sugar and flakes and other dry blends. TMTC’s products include maple syrup and derived maple syrup products supplied under retail private label brands in approximately 50 countries and are sold under various brand names.

this is a good deal....

this is a good deal....first, the deal is accretive. Second, maple syrup is a much higher margin product that stays in demand. Once anyone puts maple syrup on their pancakes, there is no going back to Aunt Jamima's corn sryup. I believe this was a good move on RSI's part.
