Tres-Or, Secova begin surveying over Duvay-Chenier

Ms. Laura Lee Duffett reports

AIRBORNE GEOPHYSICS UNDERWAY AT THE DUVAY-CHENIER GOLD PROJECT, QUEBEC

A series of high-resolution airborne magnetic surveys have commenced over selected priority targets on Tres-Or Resources Ltd. and Secova Metals Corp.'s Duvay-Chenier gold project. The project covers nearly 8,000 hectares of contiguous claims 15 kilometres northeast of Amos, Que.

Magnetic sensors for these high-resolution surveys are being flown by drone aircraft, at low altitudes and tight lines spacings (20 metres) to give the maximum resolution. Pioneer Aerial Surveys Ltd. of Regina, Sask., has been contracted to fly approximately 700 line kilometres of drone surveys. The surveys are expected to allow detailed interpretation of structures and magnetic anomalies to assist in identifying the most favourable location for follow-up drilling this year.

Tres-Or's president and chief executive officer Laura Lee Duffett stated that: "The drone airborne high-resolution magnetic surveys in concert with prospecting, mapping and sampling are expected to define high-priority drill targets outside of the main Duvay gold occurrence. We will be initiating our phase I drill program on the Duvay zone principal this summer in addition to defining additional gold sources outside of the main Duvay shear zone for phase II drilling."

The Duvay-Chenier property includes multiple historical gold occurrences, more than a dozen of which are listed on Quebec's mineral showings database. Many of these showings date back to the 1930s and have been worked by various operators intermittently since that time. The gold occurrences on the property are typical of the Abitibi region of Quebec, associated with shear zones, quartz veins and faults.

Tres-Or has optioned the Duvay-Chenier property to Secova to earn an undivided 65-per-cent right, title and interest in the Duvay gold project by paying Tres-Or the sum of $500,000 (received) and incurring $3.25-million in exploration expenses over a three-year period. Tres-Or and Secova have consolidated the 105 Duvay claims and 69 Chenier claims into a large and contiguous land package, where Secova will complete $750,000 in exploration expenditures by the end of September, 2017. Tres-Or is the operator and will provide logistical, technical and geologic services and reporting.

Laura Lee Duffett, PGeo, is the qualified person as defined in National Instrument 43-101, who has reviewed and is responsible for the technical information presented in this news release.
