Surge Energy Inc (Alberta) T.SGY

Alternate Symbol(s):  ZPTAF | T.SGY.DB.B

Surge Energy Inc. is a Canada-based oil focused exploration and production (E&P) company. The Company's business consists of the exploration, development and production of oil and gas from properties in Western Canada. It holds focused and operated light and medium gravity crude oil properties in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, characterized by large oil in place crude oil reservoirs with low recovery factors. It offers exposure to two of the five conventional oil growth plays in Canada: the Sparky and SE Saskatchewan. It holds a dominant land position and is drilling a mix of horizontal multi-frac and horizontal multi-lateral wells in the Sparky area. Sparky is a large, well established oil producing fairway in Western Canada. SE Saskatchewan is a focused operated asset base with light oil operating netbacks. SE Saskatchewan operates low-cost wells with short payouts and offers potential for continued area consolidation.

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Just a qustion guys

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Just a qustion guysHere we go off on tangents again...rehashing the past! The question is, why are our Canadian Oil Co's not seeing the support and price action that the American Firms are?  Focus on that, ....and you'll know the answer.

For me the answer is the current crop of Political leadership in this Country....pandering to Enviros and World Leadership demands....forgetting all about the citizens who reside in This cold Land and who by the way, Own The Resources. Somehow, we have been convinced that it is our duty to leave those Resources back in the ground, and be prepared to freeze north of the 49th for a good six months of the year....

And as if to put the binding on the Playbook, we look the other way, when at least 7 or 8 International Oil Greats sell off their Canadian Resource Business and strke off for greener pastures in U.S and Mexico and even further. Is there not a statement being made there, that seems to elude our Governmental Leaders?  Perhaps not...why should they care, their government homes and offices heat and light bills are paid by ?...3 guesses on that!

Cynical! oh yes, and not at all Proud anymore as a Citizen!
