Millenials already purchase the majority of their products online.  MJ should be no different.  For those Boomers that are slow to adopt to online sales, they will just have to wait for the local retailer option.  With product crunches inevitably on the horizan, this will not matter, and if anything give LP's a little slack until full retail distribtuion is across the coutry.
