Impatient sellers

Impatient sellersDo sellers have to keep hitting the bid price all the time just because there is a spread between
the bid and the ask?  It is very annoying and has a tendency to collapse the stock each time.
How about letting the bid come up and take out your offers for a change or would that be too
much to ask?  Maybe you might even get more money out of your sell that way but that's just
me.  As a buyer I would be quite happy to continue to low ball you all day long knowing that 
sellers can't be bothered to sit on the offer,
