Pilbara Minerals Limited is an Australia-based lithium company. The Company is primarily engaged in the exploration, development, and mining of minerals in Australia. Its 100% owned Pilgangoora hard-rock lithium operation is located approximately 120 kilometers (kms) from Port Hedland in Western Australia’s resource-rich Pilbara region. The operation consists of two processing plants: the Pilgan Plant, located on the northern side of the Pilgangoora area and produces spodumene and tantalite concentrates, and the Ngungaju Plant is located to the south produces spodumene concentrate. It owns 70% of the Mt Francisco project, which is located 50 km south-west of the Pilgangoora Project and hosts the large occurrence of outcropping pegmatites located nearby to Port Hedland. It is also pursuing a proposed downstream joint venture (JV) for the development of an approximately 43,000 tons per annum (tpa) lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE) lithium chemical conversion facility in South Korea.

RE:why the company is not taken seriously right nowExcellent post, IMO.  Let's get some clarity here.

To the fellow purporting to be a PLS representative:

Management needs to stop making excuses and playing vague with the issues.  Your stock is trading at multiyear lows in the mdst of a construction boom in your primary market.  Take some time on the next call to *candidly* address what has gone wrong (in comparison to your peers) and what you intend to do about it going forward.  A lack of questions does not imply a lack of interest; more like a lack of belief.  Hearing about bad weather is, frankly, insulting.

I would also personally like to hear some comments on why management and BOD has been so reluctant to purchase stock, even at multi-year depressed levels.  The compensation packages have been extremely generous given the entirely lacklustre performance.   We may be in blackout right now, but there have been plenty of missed opportunities.  Excluding Romero, I believe I own more stock than the entire BOD and management team.
