RE: Could this be it???
RE: Could this be it???GRQ MAN,
The 2 dates that I mentioned are important in that they are based on several dominant cycles that are influencing the markets. The 39 month and the 16 day cycle are both due to bottom on october 19th.
The 16 day is a cycle that has been dominant for many years, and has been reliably predicting short term market buy and sell points. When we combine dominant cycles together their net result is a composite of significant bottoms and tops of markets.
The October 24th date comes from a few other cycles of different duration that have also been dominant. These come due on the 24th, very close to the other time window. The bottom line is, when you combine all of these factors together, you have a very strong possibility that we will put in some kind of low in the next 2 weeks.
As we all know, this is not an exact science, especially when dealing with so many variables. But, the odds are strongly in our favor this time around because we are declining into these time windows.
As always, it is best to have a backup strategy if we don't any significant further decline in the markets into these time windows.
If the market can keep its head above water into early november than the Spike low will not come.
The market could sneakingly bottom without bringing attention to itself.
(any more than it already has)
After all this, the market really has in some indexes and industry groups already "crashed". We have put in what I would call corrective lows already.
The above is just a probability of what "could" happen to FINISH OFF this declining phase of the market.
It is interesting to note that the oil markets are tracing out the inverse of the stock markets. This is not uncommon, but it is worth noting that if we do finally put in a significant market low, we should also put in the high in oil at the same time.
I can't wait to see how NIR resonds to the bottoming phase of this cycle.
I don't believe it it possible to "feel" any more negative about the recent action of NIR and many other stocks. This really is just another way of reflecting the meaning of the old term: It's always darkest before the dawn ...
