RE:Summary of LDS Promotions In Place

RE:Summary of LDS Promotions In PlaceWhile some of you are speaking to management this week, don't forget to speak to them about the current state of promotion. Just to summarize, from my earlier post below, here is the promotion they have engaged in as of the end of June 2017:

  • FMT: paid US$350K for 4 months (June - Sep 2017)
  • WRG: paid US$50K for 4 months (June - Sep 2017)
  • MAPH: paid US$100K for 6 months (June - Dec 2017)
  • Sutton: paid C$20K for 6 months (June - Dec 2017)
  • TOTAL: paid US$500K + C$20K for ~ 6 months from June to Dec 2017

Management appears to have an exceptional track record of paying for things that don't add much value during the Feb to June 2017 period. Maybe someone should let them know that if you are going to pay for a promotion, you probably want to make sure you can actually manufacture a product that has the potential to contribute to a sale.

If they are looking for additional promotional opportunities, I will take half of any of the above amounts and can guarantee results as good as what they have received thus far during the months of June and July 2017. If management shows interest, please send them my way.

For what it's worth, I am with Danny, they are spending way too much on promotion and the fees paid would be much better used by investing in the underlying business. The best promotion the company can do is to put out a press release and say: 1) the COO is in hand; 2) machines are calibrated and running; 3) sales contracts worth $xxx are in place; 4) provide monthly update on revenue generated.

Without the COO, all the promotion in the world is next to useless.
