RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Curious about all those 100 share trades....?I've seen many large fake bids on a few MJ stocks on the CSE/TSXv and can't believe it's legal. I've tried selling into them and they're programmed to get pulled or moved half cent down before they can get executed. Obviously the legit bid (If there is one) hiding under the massive 100k+ fake bid will execute, but nothing more. They're usually associated with massive above average volume trading for multiple days. Usually they initially help run up the stock, but also help the sellers on the way down by sucking new buyers in with fake bids, while the sellers trend it down. You'll probably see 100k fake bids still playing MMJ, as last I check a week ago they were still there.
A classic sign a run is topping, is when you see the fake bids get pulled last 5min of trading. They'll also help somewhat soften the way down, but when they get pulled completely and disappear for days, the stock usually tumbles another -25% from there.
Hopefully now that ACB is on the TSX, it won't be plagued by these issues anymore.
Just my experience

During this time I also noticed there are big fake bids and dissapear all of a sudden. That's number one clue for me that the stock being shorting by robots. They programme them for multiple period of days. Also at the end of the day it buys into asks and starts selling nextday. I saw that patern started today on every MJ stock.

Exactly. System generated by big brokers. I've seen this happen at canopy with Goldman Sachs
