RE:RE:This is not a surprise to me
very well stated radared, I was about to respond in a very similar manner in such as energy storage. That is actually a very large and until now missing piece of this who story. Quite honestly, Eguana has received not too long ago a huge volume order through Iotchu for Australia most likely due to what is being stated in this article. It is in truth the perfect storm or whatever it is called. Natcore by the way if it can ever get it done will also help tremendously in this regard as the energy efficiency will not only be the best in the market at above 20% but the overall charge as to the tech it is bringing will last longer and may at best dip about a net of 1-2% at certain points of the day whereas others on the markets will dip by way more. When the typical cell was around 15 or 17 percent and Natcore brought out the notion of the black silicon it had stated at that time with this tech that our cells would dip to around the range of 15-16% efficiency while others would dip down to 12-14 comparatively on 17 percent efficiency and the reason to have black silicon technology for the panel to retain as much efficiency throughput throughout the day. As is often stated by press releases given by this company 1% is magnitudes in the solar field as much as are tenths of seconds comparably speaking while talking about finishing in 1st and 8th in Olympic Sports. Every percent efficiency gained is really huge when it comes to solar! Now I am still hanging around here as much as I have been trashing this company for not being able to get things done because despite my frustrations I still strongly believe in the story and in our tech I just don't believe management took the proper steps in commercializing and gaining our confidence because of the amount of time it is taking to get the first step of revenue. All of this could have been avoided in my opinion if the company stuck to its original intention of licensing lpd while looking to do what it has over the years which is building on it, but instead the company keeps looking to be the ultimate best and hit things out of the park on a grandslam basis which while admirable can lead to the same problem that poet had before the current management team came along and made parts of the platform/process open to commercial revenue. I strongly believe that this company should simply run with the 20.7% and worry about adding on to it at the same time that it actually is making revenue because if it doesn't do it that way what you will see is what you are seeing right now--years go by with absolutely nothing. When this company came out in 2009 meaning public listing it had stated it would have revenue within 1 and at the most two years! It was close to doing that in 2011 when they had developed their first generation anti-reflection boxes but all of a sudden got caught up with the black silicon and doing research on that which extended out still years in which then the company adapted the tech to the second generation ar boxes and offered companies a choice in models depending on their needs but that still didn't happen. And then company got involved with the laser process as well as the hetrojunction cells and the research just went on and on and on to where we are today still without any intellectual property of our own to offer but knowledge in the solar market and that too as one poster noted was first stated the best of breed being talked about if I am remembering the post and without looking this up first in 2014 and we are now in 2017, and this company when they respond wonders why people who have been holding longer term are upset? Give me a break, let's just get it done for pete sakes otherwise what you have is a company that is exactly what it has stated on its site a research and development company without any much practical value outside of that! And what happens, that's ok for the first maybe 3-5 years where the stock price can stay close to 80 or cents but as is the case over here just look to see how it has collapsed just slightly above its 52 week low of .15 this is just absolutely ridiculous!!! In any case, I like the tech at least so I think because we still haven't seen anything just keep hearing about it, but I am losing patience with management's inability to get some sort of revenue as all it seems like is all bark and absolutely no bite. It just can't continue on like this. Like what 1moretime stated if things don't get done this year it is time for the current management to go, I haven't seen as bad of a management team than either this or Poet in so far as getting revenue. In my opinion there is absolutely no excuse for any company not to have something out in the market within 3 years, I will say if it is super complicated and I very reluctantly bite down maximum 5 but beyond that well I think there is something really wrong--and that often times can be attributed to scientists who just want their work to be perfect--again I can admire that but there comes a time when you will need to offer up what you have while continuing to work and improve upon it. I really don't understand why this is so hard for people to do!!! When you are a public company that is the expectation otherwise it is best not to have publicly funded work. I'm sorry but I can't be involved in another company that does things like this and if I am I will most certainly take the profits while they are there sell faster so that I don't take as big of hits as I am over here and others that I have extended the same courtesy out to. I have to simply make my money more near term not 100 years done the line which may or may not happen. In any case, I had said I will wait until 2019 and I will but that doesn't mean that I want see this company take another day to get anything out as it is way past due for that! So I will say this again, let's get it done boys because you can't expect people to hold on forever for you to get the tech out and at the same time screw retail shareholders by offering cheap pps along the way that doesn't do anything for us but has us taking up all the risks and those who get in cheap already being rewarded 20% and then some and the reason why it is very important to find those who realize this that they will at least give some share holder support and I am not bloody talking about when the stock goes from a pp price of .19 to .15 and then they start buying because they will make money by pushing the tide in their favor. Quite honestly, I haven't really respected many of the pp backers as many have been quite fickle but one I did respect in one stock I held--Global Max Fin which was part of an underwriting and financing when Espial Technologies (Toronto) did several bought deals. Global was part of a $10 million bought deal at a price of $2.50/share the shares traded in at about that price for some time but inevitably started to sag even as low as $1.80 and while others were not buying Global was constantly buying $2.50, $2.25, $2.00, $1.80--I call this a very strong and sincere backer whereas companies like Canacord tuck tail and start chopping shares--Canacord is known as a chopping block and whenever they are involved with any pp's I really cringe--they are really bad. There were others that were very bad when involved with IBC Advanced Alloys, so it is very important for companies to be able to pick the proper people to back them although I get as the saying goes beggers can't be choosers but still these people who have the privilege, yes privilege to take part in the pps and who believe in the story should give to companies share price support as it is good for them, for the company and for all of us at retail. I can't express how much I appreciate it when those who do it do so but over here I don't see very much of it at least in the buying end of things, however, I do see it possibly in the sense not very many people have been selling. Now in so far as whether this will have commercial contract this year, I would love to believe so but based on the Lunden Interview I would be very doubtful. Brian didn't offer up a decisive response. He only really reluctantly said this year when he was pressed. That interview in truth doesn't bring me that much confidence and I wish I didn't see that part of it. I personally expect it and have been saying it would come this year. In truth I expected it within the first quarter. I will still hold onto the fact that I have said this year at some point--the sooner definitely the better because if it doesn't happen well we are snaking down to .15--we will surely be below that .05-.10 would be my guess. That is how much is weighing on a commercial contract. it is literally a winner takes all scenario--now contract our share value will take a major hit, contract yes, I do believe as I was saying conservatively $1-$2.00 depending how much revenue will be reported and the scope of the deal in which when we had seen the figures I was actually blown away. I didn't think it would be anywhere that size, so yes, the best of bleed whoops breed can bring in good chunks of revenue even if not what our own ip can but still quite sizable. There has been lots of work in Australia I am just surprised that we haven't benefitted by any of it as of yet and think what the heck is going on? Anyways, let's see what this company does is it the real deal or simply just showing smoke and mirrors as well as a typical penny talking and walking like it as it has and continues to do so until we see something really tangible. Sorry folks you have had more than 8 years and not a single penny of revenue is really hard to stomach--just being honest here. Let's get moving and get it done--started--once and for all--no more same song and dance we've heard it all before we need to actually see the results that we have been more than patiently waiting for! Time is up for this current management because when the voting comes and there are choices I will not hesitate to vote it out or simply abstain if no alternative because I am less than happy with the amount of time this is taking it is way past ridiculous--even Poet got it done within 8 years!!!
