RE:RE:Renewable energy jobs are Booming
BC has always taken pride in clean energy and often advertising itself as "Supernatural" British Columbia due to the amount of forests and waterways we are blessed with along with mountains we should (British Columbians) should look after it and look to being a leader in green tech so when companies like Aurora Solar are doing really well I am very pleased as they are just in my backyard. Call it BC pride or whatever else but yes, people should continue to develop renewables whether people believe in the so called alarmist/warmist agenda or not because quite honestly as I have personally stated I would rather err on the side of caution than not. It is really that simple for me. Nevertheless, regardless of that and I have also said this, even leaving aside the heating debate there is still the carbon release one where people are choking on bad air and dying from it--will today's carbon capture be efficient to combating that I certainly hope so, not to mention that is pollution in our water and soil sources (again--proper containment and captures are needed) not to also mention fracking. I am strong proponent to say there is a very high co-relation between that and seismic activities. I haven't said that fracking causes it but definitely increases the probability of it. Just like one would talk about smoking to lung cancer--smoking is a very substantial contributor but not everyone who smokes dies from lung cancer many do however. That type of thing and the reason why the tabacco companies were able to hide behind this. It isn't a perfect co-relation but a very darn high one. In any case, this has been my two cents worth on this subject and I know there are those who don't agree with renewables and that is fine they are entitled to their opinion and while I don't agree I respect it. I offer up my perspective and reasons just as they do. But whether people like it or not renewables are here to stay and have been since the late 90's prior to which it seemed more like a passing fad and proved to be the case until that point when the Canadian Parliament started to take a stronger stance with it perhaps because of all the International Accords like Kyoto and the Paris Accords along with all the others. Personally speaking, I am happy that they have, like I said if anything I would tend to err on the side of caution nothing can ever be wrong with that, you do otherwise well we may not like the end result, call me an alarmist all you like but that is what I honestly believe. At the end of the day we just have to know by objectivity and knowledge what we are dealing with in terms of all our energy sources their pros as well as their cons.
