Adds dilution and good in big deposits. High capital, low operating costs.
This new kimberlite could be very lucarative.
If you take a step back to the other string of pearls. They have horrible strip ratios in any sort of open pit scenario..but an underground mine next to them and it is very easy to develop to them and extract the kimberlite only. They string of pearls are way more suited for underground development then open pit.
So as to this new kimberlite and I believe they have fairly been clear that it is not similar in signature to the known CH-6 kimberlite types...and if it fits a minimum mining width and comes back with good caustics..it will be suited for underground mining.
I know they were debating even a second rill rig onsite this summer....throwing in a third rig says a whole lot about the confidence level they are at now.
