MPVD business combinations - why?

MPVD business combinations - why?Gather round, conspiracy theorists, I'm ging to spin you a tale that may set your hearts a-flutter and cause you to re-think some of your investment choices.  Now, I'm not an insider, and so all of this is the merest speculation on my part... but consider that PE has set into motion a Very Long Game against an adversary, deBeers Canada.  Think in those terms.  PE caused to be spun out from MPVD all the 'exploratory' claims that MIGHT have been entangled in the GK development betwixt MPVD and deB, to the shareholders.  Us.  Now, what happens to the plant that deB has partnered with MPVD, once the GK pits and mines are exhausted, in 12 or so years?  The plant, most likely, won't be worn out... deB had no ore to process... and so, MPVD may in the end buy out deB as a partner and keep the plant runing with ore from... guess where?  KDI!  But KDI is an 'independent' company, so it will pay someone to process its ore... MPVD... and so, deB can be reasonably theorized to be 'cut out' or 'bought out' from the venture, some time in the future.  Once deB has no value to be extracted from GK, what must it do?  Sell or abandon.  Which leaves MPVD in the catbird seat.  In this scenario, KDI happily explores and publishes NI43-101s until the cows come home, MPVD pays off its loan, then makes money until deB leaves, then KDI builds a mine, then makes money (selling diamonds) and MPVD makes more money (processing ore, or taking a cut of the diamonds; who cares?) and the shareholders of both companies make money.  So think Long Game, me hearties... and cheers.  Vegas in 2018, then?
