Future Potential

Future Potential

I wonder if there would be a way to merge with Detour Gold, as equals, to become a senior producer, in a great geo friendly area. Together they would be prucing over 1.2MM ounces in gold with AISC under $1000. Which is a great margin on rising gold prices.

Outside of the next few years, (unless they find new gold deposits in there own backyard), there isn't great mine life for Kirkland Lake to sustain the near 600K annual production for the next decade (when gold prices should start to rise).

I am not a fan of overpaying for a junior, but would much rather merge as equals with another mid-cap producer.

Anyone have thoughts on Kirkland Lake's future sustainability?

Cheers
