RE:RE:RE:Transportation PermitFellas, we need to forget about January 1st deadline for now. Recreational cannabis sales are the icing on the cake but the permits won't be ironed out on this (in Adelanto) until sometime next year. 100% of my interest in pushing LDS to start production and sales for now is focused squarely on the medical market (for now) as that is the only permits they have. There is a lot of money to be made even in a LEGALLY operated medical market.
Have a look at the this July 20, 2017 article where Adelanto Mayor Richard Kerr makes a very important comment about recreational cannabis permits in Adelanto. Right now, there is no limit to the number of facilities used for cannabis-related cultivation or the manufacture of cannabis derivatives within the city limits. Adelanto also permits, but has strict limits on, the operation of medical marijuana dispensaries. Adelanto Mayor Richard Kerr notes the city will evaluate whether to approve dispensaries and grow facilities for recreational use once state legislators and regulators put laws governing non-medical cannabis production in place; that’s expected to take place next year.

The focus should be on distribution and sales. Agreed that best in class product quality is essential to this company but sales are arguably even more important and that is why locking down a quality distributor partner has to be a priority. Given that January 1st is getting closer and we have yet another month of waiting for the COO then maybe now is the time to do just that.
