There massive amount of rejected cathode foil out there to get us some quick cash because disassembling millions and millions of 18650 cells is complicated, and there aren't even enough dead cells yet to attempt to build automated disassembly.  Uncanned and rejected Cathode coated foils can just be dropped right into our cobalt hungry hopper.  Rejected foils are a brilliant idea to get this off the ground.  Pilot plant can be built on a mobile platform and taken anywhere batteries are being made.  Id compare this scenario to not having to strip off the insulation from scrap copper wire, skip the expensive wire stripping machine and just collect the pure materials.   Brilliant idea that should speed up the advent of a revenue stream from AMI.
