RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Tech play in Cannabis
Thanks again for your open answer Canuck21C. I have found it fascinating, because I realize how easy it seems to separate even the well informed intelligent investor from his/her money. Investing is a mind game and to understand the behaviour of the investors in this kind of situation is, to me, very interesting. I'll get back to my investment strategy later on, but let me first emphasize again this: I never have written that FFT is indeed a scam, I only said that it could be a scam and invited the investors to be carefull and apply due diligence. Look it up on Wikipedia folks, a pump and dump scheme is a scam, and almost all the characteristics of a pump and dump scheme can be found here, all but the dumping part of the scheme, which can only be sorted out by the authorities (here the BCSC). No investor/poster has access to this data. This is called a bullboard, even the name implies that all that is written here is not necessarily true, and I think it is the right platform to share any information that is of interest to actual and future shareholders. Without these kinds of platforms, it would become too easy for companies to abuse shareholders, and you know I'm sure there is enough of that. I stand by my comments on what I wrote, all except maybe the allegations concerning Cannnabizz, for which I can have no proof, but of course if these allegations are right, someone may end up having real problems. Tomorow I think there shouldn't be much of a fallout, because nothing has been realized: none of the projects will show much advancement, no money will have been spent on staff, so the coffers should still be pretty full from the previous PPs. None of the usual growing pains will be felt. So why do you think was it so difficult to release the monthly report? I have a hunch, but I'll keep it to myself, as it is conjecture. Now back to my investment strategy. When I invest in a company, I do not invest in an idea, on a project, or on a technology. My background gave me the chance to know personally 2 different very successful entrepreneurs that have become billionnaires. I know these people and know their character. I look for some of these traits of character when I listen to conference calls or read CEO statements. It all comes down to this: I invest in PEOPLE. I judge their character and their ability to stay focused on objectives and to deliver on their promises.
