RE:What would happen to Canada's energy grid?

RE:What would happen to Canada's energy grid?Hi AwesomeJosh, seeing as no one replied to you yet let me give it a try. I can think of two situation that can affect Canada. 1) Russia withholding supply of enriched uranium to Canada if it comes to that, due to their close relationship with the USA. This has no affect... Canada's CANDU reactors can run on thorium or spent enriched uranium fuel from light water reactors. There is plent of that around in the world. 2) Canada is a major supplier of uranium with excess capacity to supply their neighbors in the US. This could only be a boom to the Canadian Uranium industry. It might even signal opening of closed mines like rabbit lake or accelerated construction of new mines. Of which, I believe FCU's open pittable resource is a front runner to get started up quicker than the others. Exciting time ahead. This might me the significant catalyst that makes uranium relevant again. GLTA!
