A newsletter, like any other advisory whether it be a hedge fund or a finanical planner, is usually indicative of a long-term strategy unless its focus is swing trading or short-term trading of derivatives. Particularly with Katusa's newsletter which predominantly focuses on natural resources, the timelines are often extended into 2-5 year holding intervals. My point to Alexandre12345 was that you can't assess a strategy intended for multiple years based on 6-12 months of performance. Completely unrealistic expectations will lead to disappointment.
