EUO is very good in picking / hinting at / promoting markets with vast potential. They are just not very good in building viable businesses.

 

Croptimal is just another great example. EUO is using Netafim to supply some sort of credibility while Netafim is using them to test out an essentially new market segment for them as Netafim has NO claim to fame in anything but irrigation. I see no evidence in the financials that Netafim has made any monetary contributions but I do see EUO budgeting some 1.3 whatever million to further Croptimal. Further what? Xenemetrix  has supposedly completed development of the N whatever sniffing gismo. Now it’s off to field trials. Those are Netafim field trials. Netafim should pay for them and that includes supplying the highly paid help as in agronomists whatever. Why is Croptimal hiring this high priced help? Netafim has an army of them.

 

None of this makes any sense to me. Maybe because it was never properly explained? Maybe it wasn’t properly explained because there is no rational (for shareholders) explanation aside from Doron expanding his money losing Israeli kingdom and a much needed carrot for Bruce he can dangle in front of shareholders since past carrots haven’t amounted to anything.
