RE:RE:Molson CoorsI agree that the MJ-Booze combo may never happen, but i do think the caffeine-MJ thingy will once we have recognized generally that legal mj is more benign than we thought. The trend in our evolving society is definitely leaning towards a foundation in evidence, and i think the evidence will eventually show that it's at the very least somewhat harmless in combination. One could argue that western civilization is built on an unhealthy addiction to caffeine, and we could also probably quantify the more nefarious aspects of that government and culture sanctioned drug. In the next couple years, we're going to see more and more studies showing the net benefits of MJ, and while it may seem crazy now, i suspect it won't take very long at all before the caffeine-mj combo actually becomes commonplace. We shall see...

The Task Force report and susbsequent legislation both put up huge red flags when it comes to the intoxication affects that are magnified when the alcohol and thc are combined. That you could potentially blow and saliva test under but be quite impaired when the drugs are combined. That is the prime reason they don't want it sold in the same stores. So no way in the foreseeable will we see any alcohol-thc beverages approved.
Tobacco was also singled out as a no no to combine in any way. So getting back to the pot-o converstion it will be interesting to see if the govt allows that combo at all either. Caffeine is quite benign compared to tobacco and alcohol but is still physically addictive so that will be an interesting call I think.
