RE:Anybody doing the Math?

RE:Anybody doing the Math?it means if you buy shares today or even yesterday, you won't be entitled to buy the CVR's, as if you buy today or yesterday the settlement date is August 10 or 9, and the shares will be ex-distribution the opening of trading on Aug. 9. In essence, only existing shareholders can benefit from the CVR not new ones. seems fair.
oldtimer42 wrote: .It is anticipated that ex-distribution trading in the common shares will commence on August 9, 2017. Neither any subscription elections nor any interest in a CVR will be listed on the TSX".

This is straightforward enough but shares are being traded as we speak so I am not sure what the ex-distribution trading in common shares on August 9, 2017 is all about unless they have already determined the entitlement for the subscriptions.

If anybody is clearer than me on this please add some insight.
