RE:RE:Completely Off Topic

RE:RE:Completely Off TopicHi Raven, I don't use VectorVest it is hit or miss with some of their top picks (e.g. Tree Island was a top pick a few months ago).  I use the stock screener on google usually.  I then go to 5iresearch and see what questions are asked on the stock.  If things look positive I follow up with stockhouse with a grain of salt to the comments.  Stockhouse is good I see some good analysis from a number of users which I respect (some also are just pumpers which I avoid). I then go to sedar and yahoo finance to see the balance sheets and yahoo finance is good to see what management are being paid.  Lastly I look at the range of the trades for the past 52 weeks and figure out a good entry point and exit point.  Stock goes on my watchlist and I watch it for daily trades if it drifts into my range I pick it up.  I find there is a big lag in VV compared to when I notice a good stock.  I picked up BUS in the 70 cent range and CDN in the 30 cent range long time before VV had them as picks at $2 something.  Its a gamble but the more information you know on something the better I also don't blindly buy what is recommended by BNN experts on market call.  Hope this helps.
