rights participation

rights participationNR from June 29th indicated Liberty, Vertex, and Orion were fully participating for gross proceeds of $16M.
NR from August 3rd indicated Liberty, Vertex, and Orion were fully participating for gross proceeds of $30M.

Am I missing something or did these guys double their position in RD between June 29th and July 5th (cutoff date for sh's to participate in RO) thereby enabling them to obtain 65% of the rights offering insted of 33%. I would take such a move as a big vote of confidence in the underlying assets the company holds, and its future prospects ... and possibly a move to enable the big 3 to push management out and install a new team to run this project.

Thoughts?
