RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Technical Report and Pre-Feasibility Study for the HollisterAs stated by PP, but also gives some definitive historical mining information, as follows:-
Source - page 35 - paragraph 6.4.2
Hollister's Gweniver and Clementine districts were mined by cut and fill long hole stoping methonds between Jan 1 2008 and May 19 2013.
During this entire period GBG mined 457, 278 tons of ore and extracted 407,546 AuEq ounces.
(An average of 1.12 AuEq ounces per ton over over 5yrs 5 months)
For the years 2008 and 2009 the ore mines was 123k tons, which produced 175k AuEq ounces.
(an average of 1.42 AuEq ounces per ton)
It is understandable that there is inense disapointment with managment's downplay of the Hollister propects, by deflecting investors to the 2019 prospects of Hatter Graben as being the reason why they paid $80m to Waterton.
GBG failed due to their over leverage and the underperformance of their SA mining project. There is no apparent reason why GBG could not otherwise have continued mining at Hollister at the rate of over 75k ounces per annum.
